How much do you charge?
For larger projects, we provide personalized quotes to ensure you get the best value for your specific gardening needs.
However, for regular garden maintenance services, we typically charge around £25 per hour, with a two hour minimum (Please also see the waste removal conditions below)
Please note that the final cost may vary depending on the complexity and size of your garden, but we always strive to offer competitive and fair pricing for all services. Can you remove waste?
We are registered waste carriers, however, at The Lonely Gardener, we believe in promoting recycling in gardens and we’re here to help you recycle your garden waste efficiently.
So yes, we can arrange waste removal services.
So you have some idea: below is the current cost for us to drop the waste at the recycle centre, plus our man hours.
Mixed waste – £169.41 + VAT per tonne – min charge half a tonne – £84.70 + VAT.
Wood & Garden waste – £123.05 + VAT per tonne – min charge half a tonne – £61.52 + VAT.
Soil & Stone – £35.66 + VAT per tonne.
Hardcore – £22.29 + VAT per tonne.

But we offer a wide range of services, including lawn maintenance, planting, pruning, tree care, decking, pressure washing. We now also offer house clearance and waste removal.
